"Stay Away"

“After a friend accidentally pressed a button, resulting in me buying a Spotlight feature, worth £44.99, I contacted Bumble to make them aware of the mistake. All I got back was some robotic response saying it’s in the Terms and Conditions and can’t be rectified. I’m now going to be in rent arrears due to this, resulting in more stress at an already stressful time. I received no empathy at all. This is how they make their money. How ironic that a company trying to promote love, lacks compassion and any kind of humanistic response. If I could give them zero stars then I would.

"8,000 Swipes"

“I started counting how many swipes I swiped, after I realized I was getting zero results. I swiped on literally every single female, for 8,000 swipes and have literally had zero responses. This seems statistically impossible at this point, because I’m good looking and well dressed. I’m starting to think their “Ai” is discriminating and illegally scamming me because I’m a young White Male. I’ve sent an email to Bumble, and haven’t heard anything back. This is sincere truth, and I am extremely offended and hurt by this experience with Bumble.

"Trash"

“I live north of Phoenix. I don’t have any more people within a 70 mile radius. I’ve matched with probably 20 people in over a year. Payed for endless swipes and boosts more than once. I seriously don’t have any more people within the radius to swipe on. About 5 or 6 actually messaged and only two made it beyond bumble. I used to have tinder before they banned me for no reason and I think I got 50-75 matches within a couple months. Bumble is, and will always be a scam. Once my membership expires I’m deleting it and never using it again. $#*! bumble.

"Not for Women"

“I joined Bumble because I was lead to believe it was for women. I’ve recently learned that’s absolutely not true! If a paid membership man wants verification you are forced to provide a selphie. Well I’m 47 yrs old woman and selfies is what my kids do. If it is truly the site is about women, why do we have to prove even more? We already have a hard enough time. I’m not taking a darn photo because some stranger demands it! It’s another man friendly site, absolutely false advertising!

"Horrible Experience"

“What a horrible experience. I do not recommend. The worst part was when they would not allow me to access my account, which I paid for in full, unless I agreed w/ their “values” supporting BLM. However you as an individual feel, you should never be forced to agree with a companies political views to gain access to a service that you paid for in full. I have cancelled… will never use or recommend again.

"Rip Off Dating Site"

“No ph no, refuse to respond to over 9 messages. Pages dont work, fake profiles, while a paid member, unable to use features as every function doesn’t work suddenly once you join! Report this company to the FTC and Secretary of State doing bad business. Crooks!

"Horrible App"

“The woke chick who started the app won’t even allow users to sort potential matches by race. So you’ll be scrolling through countless people you’re not interested in. And dont even think about posting a photo of yourself enjoying a sport like skeet, sporting clays or hunting because guns= “evil”. Theyll delete the photo Woke garbage app.

"Sexist (Literally)"

“I re-opened an old account, and an old shirtless picture that used to be OK but no longer is… was flagged and removed. I sent an e-mail to the Bumble morons asking ‘why is it ok at a beach (or if you are a woman)’ and they blocked me. Men aren’t allowed to ask ‘why?’. Pure discrimination.

"Total Scam from Start to Finish"

“Bumble is a total scam from start to finish. They entice you into getting premium membership but when you pay for it they ban you. Ridiculously simple, isn’t it? I have no idea how these rogues get away with scamming people so blatantly! Bumble tried to put unauthorized charges on me even after they banned my account! Lol Be wary of this app!

"Horrible App"

“Don’t give them a cent! They gonna ban you anyway. They’ll find or invent whatever reason or they won’t respond to your email at all. They are nothing but thieves stealing from their paying members. There is so much bullsh*t and rip off in online dating world. The point is you need to take it from online to offline as soon as possible and the site I mentioned helps in doing this. Bumble is worthless! I wonder if they have at least one real female profile – they all look terribly fake. You get to correspond with bots for a few days and then Bumble just bans you without any explanation. Horrible app.

"Can't Cancel Membership"

“Women contact men first on Bumble, so if you are a man there is not much you can do. You have limited time to answer their letters, which is really silly. There are lots of questionable and disingenuous women. The profiles are not background checked there, the very few of the genuine women they have on Bumble have lost touch with reality. They consider themselves queens and princesses. Therefore they expect men to fall at their feet. Communication with them is not enjoyable at all
I can’t cancel my membership on Bumble, they keep charging me. I guess they have put me on automatic subscription and renewal and once again I have to waste my time for figuring out how to cancel it.

– Alain C.

Source- Sitejabber

"Terrible Customer Service"

“Be wary of this sketchy, scam site.

1. They’ll hide the cancellation option and continue to auto bill you each month

2. There’s men dressed up as women on the women’s side

3. There’s prostitutes and prostitution on the app

4. Customer service is impossible to contact or unhelpful for the rare time they do reply

5. Fake profiles of models

I could go on but you get the idea. Use at your own risk!”

"Kicked Off for No Reason"

“The app is not bad, what I can say after 2 days. But, their t&c’s are not really transparent and they can kick you for no reason. The system is detecting “misbehavior” and that’s it. The support is unfriendly and just giving general answers. Then they cut you off without a real answer. I regret to gave them 49.90$. Don’t waste your money. My advice

"Terrible Customer Service"

“Terrible customer service!!! Never actually helped me clear up account issues I was dealing with and yet continued to charge me when I didn’t even know I had a subscription. Instead of making things right to fix my account issues and address the surprise charges they threw it back in my face and said they addressed my issues (which is still not resolved as I leave this comment).”

"Kicked Off for No Reason"

“Long story short. I paid for the lifetime membership of 189.99 – was using the app for 5 months then all of a sudden I was kicked out. Unable to log back in with zero reasoning. They don’t respond to emails and don’t have a phone number you can call. Apparently after my own independent research I have been blocked from Bumble. Apparently there has been complaints about me from other users which is odd to me because I was never inappropriate of disrespectful to any other users.

"Bad Experiences"

“I had tried Bumble a couple of years ago. Bad experiences. Was stood up countless times, men were just wanting casual sex, they lied, they put photos on their profiles the at were many years and pounds ago (I’m talking 10, 15, 20 years ago and the men in person were 10, 15, 20, 30 pounds heavier). Pretty bad for a company that promotes itself as women friendly. One day last week I decided to install the app on my phone and made the very deliberate decision to only opt for one day subscription just to see if things looked like they had improved. They hadn’t. Quite a number of the profiles were of men from my previous bad decision to use Bumble. Again, photos on a number of profiles were ‘old’.

"Will Not Refund Me"

I’ve subscribed to Bumble on and off for about 2 years. My number one complaint is that they hid your profile in order to keep you coming back. I got a number of swipes throughout my time on the app, most of the men are out of my range even though I set it for 50 miles. When my subscription is about to end, I will usually unsubscribe in advance even though it won’t end until the actual end date but what happens is you will suddenly stop getting any likes. I’ve tested this and driven to Los Angeles, Palm Springs, etc. and opened the app … Still not likes even though I get a lot but AS SOON as my my subscription actually ends all of a sudden 50+ LIKES show up but I cannot see them until I subscribe.

"It Didn't Workout"

Thieves, thieves, thieves. Idiotic security settings with picture recognition imperfect to say the least. Kicking out customers out of their accounts and asking for new picture uploads – and naturally the uploads do not work. Not worth your money. It seems this company is more like a Russian scam than anything else.

"It Didn't Workout"

So, I’m athletic, handsome, adventurous, brave, honorable and wealthy enough to be traveling to Italy, Albania, and Greece this year for a month. After hundreds upon hundreds of right swipes (between 500-1,000), I have received 0 matches. I used Bumble in 2019 and matched with someone back then but, that was three years ago. And of course, it didn’t work out. She wanted someone wealthier than I, and that is perfectly fine..

"I Don't Believe the App Works"

“Not sure why no one responds to any of my right swipes. I don’t believe the app works. Two weeks and only one response. It seems like the profiles of women are fraudulent. You can’t tell me that after 600+ women that none of them responded to me. That would mean that I have a 0.0016 chance of a woman responding to my profile which I seriously doubt is the case. If I was fat, bald and unemployed then yeah, I could see that being the case but I am a fit, handsome, active and fully employed guy. This site I don’t believe truly works to connect guys with women.

"They Do Not Allow Cancelling Your Payment on Mobile App"

“I got ripped off a couple of hundred dollars, though I cancelled my Bumble subscription. They do not easily let you go off from their subscriptions. "I'll Never Be Back"

I paid for a week of Bumble for $17.99 and was trying to verify my photo but it wouldn’t let me. I took 100 different photos and none would allow me to continue my conversations with the men I met. It kept saying it didn’t take. So I sent three or four different messages to the company asking for help and it’s been 24 hours. I feel like they got my money and nothing in return. I set up my account with pseudo name I normally use and wanted to update it. You cannot change your name yourself. You have to send a request. "You Become Invisible"

The structure and design of Bumble is set up to get you to buy more features to get further responses/reactions. I had 4 dates/meetups in a week’s time – not bad but after a week, without purchasing Bumble upgrades/services – you become invisible. Also, the empowering nature of the app causes many not so-nice-behaviors and rudeness from users. Not all users but many. Sad – I suspect longer-term Bumble users will ultimately be very unhappy and lonely.” – Tim

"Total Ripoff"

“Total rip off You pay a subscription. You see profiles of men. You like them sk e of them but get no likes back. You are the to upgrade your subscription and you agree and get a few likes back. This then stops. You like more people and still get nothing even when asking some of the. Just to replay to show they have seen you. You the. Are asked to boost your so called premium subscription so that more people see your details. This will cost £59 for a months worth!!! Hynge works in the same way. "These transphobic people ban you for…"

“These transphobic people ban you for life! What a cruelty! Basically I haven’t done anything wrong but it was obvious how transphobic these people are when they banned me because my belly was shown in one of my picture ! They put me back on when I complain and then banned me again for god knows what! When you ask why all they do is talking about their guidelines! They don’t tell you what you done wrong , they only say because of their guidelines….Jesus! Instead of banning people for life how about help them to create better profiles by giving them warnings? Anyway I don’t wish well for Bumble! If you are a transgender please stay away from these apps! Badoo also! "Refused to Adjust Subscription"

“I have only been in the site four days and already wish I had not joined .The site does not mention that once you have looked at a persons profile and swiped left , that’s it there’s no going back .What happens is you look through the files initially not realising you can’t look again , so after the first buzz ( pun intended) there are hardly any profiles to look at .And although I am hardly Brad Pitt I have not had one like ! "Terrible Company and Pathetic Customer Support"

“Bumble is a fraud and all they care about is your money. The customer support is rude, slimy and opaque. They blocked my profile (no reason given) and swallowed the entire subscription money and have been ignoring my emails since then. Many people have told me they also sell your private data to other companies for profit, so be careful. The concept is good but the company’s policy and their conduct towards the customers is a big scam. "Refused to Adjust Subscription"

The whole thing is scam to make the owner a billionaire. Whitney Wolfe Herd is on the Forbes list of the super-rich. The 31-year-old became the world’s youngest self-made female billionaire when she took Bumble public in February.Search for -“Man ‘emailed Bumble’ to ask if there was ‘glitch’ because he wasn’t getting any matches.” This guy was getting no matches, emails a girl he has seen on there, and now they are in a relationship. It shows how much of a scam bumble is!

As a test I did the same thing with a friend. We both swiped right when our profiles came up. But we never got a “like”.Lastly, you have the rights by law to ask Bumble to share your data with you. I suggest you do this to see how many likes you have received etc.” – D Whitehouse

Contacted to cancel and delete. Waiting. Empowering women? How? By preventing men saying first hello? Haa haaa I feel empowered. The only thing they empower is the corporate account with shekels scammed from people. “Awful, awful company! I use Bumble BFF and on occasions, I have used their 1-day subscription which use to be £2.99. Recently I tried the 1-day subscription which they did an auto-subscription without clear messaging or any confirmation of this. Under the Consumer Contract Act, this is illegal. I am shocked I have been charged daily £1.99 and having done research after, it seems many others are scammed this way. I work in marketing and I know UX Design very well. This tactic is to confuse consumers and illegally take your money and then claim it’s in their T&Cs which is not present or clear when you subscribe. I spent $200 or so for the lifetime experience cause I thought to myself, maybe I might up using this app. Well the app was right swiping people I didn’t like when I tried to swipe away, didn’t allow me to state my personal preferences and what exactly I was looking for. To top it off it claimed it was hate speech. Just another app suckering up to the land wokeism agenda lead by the liberals in their lala land. "Horrifically Awful Dating Site"

“Bumble is a horrifically awful dating site. Not only are a huge majority of the profiles fake, but one man I was speaking with was a registered sex offender who was in jail for twenty years for rape, only to be released and then attack five different women on five different occasions before being caught again. I only learned this because I Google anyone I speak with and he was stupid enough to give me his real name. The male profiles on this site, for the most part, were fake. “I have been blocked with two different accounts now with Bumble. It took me a ton of courage to even sign up for an online dating app and I’ve been blocked now twice in 3 days of trying the app (once after just an hour of having a live profile). Bumble has not responded to over 7 contacts, emails or inquiries requesting help. I have also now paid for the app twice with no response or refund. Worst part is I had begun conversations on the second try and now have lost all contact ability. Couldn’t be more frustrated or discouraged. "Blocked by Bumble"

“Bumble has blocked my account on two occasions and kept the remaining of the subscription amount. They apparently block accounts based on a user’s report/complaint, but the fact that anybody can leave a complaint (if you do not respond to their messages because you are busy or you politely say no to continue chatting with them for whatever reason) makes the whole process very unreliable and unreasonable. “Imagine paying for a guy or girl’s drink at a bar every month and only getting a smile or 5 minute conversation from them- this is Bumble. Bumble uses false advertising and the “unique” facade to trap guys and girls into thinking they are paying for something different from Tinder. Don’t be fooled- it’s a joke, functions just like tinder, and not worth your time.” –Darrell of Lanesville, IN

"Don't Pay This Company a Cent"

After a little gentle persuasion from the app, out of curiosity clicked on the 1 day subscription of only 2.49 to view likes. Little did I know that this would end up being an every day recurring payment. Cancelled my Boost using the app, which mysteriously the next day changed my boosts (and the money to pay for it) to active again!! On top of this, they are taking double the number of payments out of my account. Update: In short, had to get the bank to treat my card as stolen to halt the payments, and will probably now need to close my account as a result. Don’t pay this company a cent – this is a scam – nothing more, nothing less.” –Martyn of Tewkesbury

"This is a Complete Scam"

“This app has appalling customer service. You can easily click on their 3 month of boost or whatever it is accidentally, then it automatically takes a HUGE sum from your Paypal. The button is placed strategically where you need to touch the screen. They will NOT refund you, and from what I can gather this expensive addition adds NOTHING to the app. This is a complete scam. They should be ashamed. I cannot believe this app is allowed.”   Carly of Caravonica

"Avoid Bumble at Any and All Costs"

“This company is a Scam! The connections they set me up with turned out to be all fakes. Trying to cancel my subscription in the middle of my free trial period, there’s no place to click on do so on their site nor is there any place on Google Play despite Google’s instructions. I had to call my bank who claimed they can’t do anything until the charge for my 1st 3 months comes through. So when it does, I have to call them back and then they’ll file a fraud claim so I’ll be out that money for probably 10 days until my bank can process this fraud. "Very Dissapointed"

“This site is not all it’s cracked up to be. Seems the only “matches” you get are hours away from you. Not to mention the scam of signing up for a six month period and being charged continually after the 6 months. Good luck trying to resolve the issue with them. Seems like you just get automated responses back. I tried to cancel my subscription after being advised that it was renewed via email (which I did not authorize) and could not even find a cancel button. They then proceeded to tell me I had already cancelled it. Hard to do if you can’t even locate that option. Very disappointed in both the app and the customer service.” –Mai of Kingston, ON

“As with others on this platform, I am also a victim of Bumble’s deception and misinformation. On their page it states that it’s £66.99 for 6 months, paying £11 per month. I was shocked to see the entire £66.99 came out of my account. With no money to go to work I had to now struggle until my next pay. "Don't Waste Your Time With This App"

“Terrible and a waste of time. I gave the app a year and in that time regardless of receiving multiple matches, only one over responded even with the 24hr extensions the app provides and that conversation felt more like I was talking with a computer than a person. What finally made me understand this app was a true waste of time was when a person I knew and trusted had pictures on the site yet they had never become a member. What that told me is that many of the profiles aren’t real which means you’re being mislead. To that end, I thought it was interesting how many matches suddenly appeared when my subscription was close to ending appeared. Don’t waste your time with this app.” –Mark of Edmonton, AB

So, Bumble gets my money, I get no service, and it is suggested that I cancel my subscription by the very company that refused to accept any kind of accountability or responsibility. Wow. Come to find out it auto renews every week!!! Not every month at a much lower cost, but every week for the highest price available they have for the service. I thought the app automatically cancelled my subscription because I chose not to purchase Boost. The next day, I still don’t have Boost and all is well. “Bumble used to be totally unrestricted. There was no daily swipe limit and you could see on your messages screen when someone had swiped on you, so swiping continually to match with that person was highly addictive and good fun.Since then, it’s all changed. There is now a daily swipe limit which is lower than Tinder’s, and for some reason it resets every 24 hours instead of the 12 that most people are used to. That’s just too long and totally switches people off. You now have to pay for upgrades to do just about anything on this app, which on Tinder you don’t. “TRASHHHHH. How can I just get categorised as using the app for commercial gain, when I wrote in the bio that I want a man who knows how to take care of a woman! So can I not want a man who can take care of a woman? What kind of weak minded men are on there reporting my sentence to be blocked ( in German location on bumble). And bumble did not even allow me to justify myself but instead just closed down my account after being this invested? And also paid monthly. What!? Meanwhile these males are on there bluntly asking for sex and sending d*ck pics and their account is not going to get blocked/deleted? Any trash man can just get you blocked on there and as a woman you have no chance to defend yourself. Although the irony of this app is to allow women to make the first move, hence empowering women. Trash. Oh and their CS do not respond. Tzzz.” – Afia

"Sexist. Appalling. Hurtful."

“They are letting an abuse victim continue to be controlled by her manipulater. I was ‘banned’, so I sent 2 emails to follow up. The only person who would report my profile is my abusive former partner, who has done this to me before (reported my Tinder). I explained this but received a dismissive, rude response from ‘Mike’ at Bumble. After 2 years in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship, Bumble has allowed the control to continue. Sexist, appalling, hurtful. Further to this, I received conflicting responses to my emails. The first response from Bumble indicated that the reason for my ban was as a result of me not verifying properly. The second response from Bumble was that my profile received several complaints, but failed to specify who (I already know who, as discussed above). As a Law Graduate 2 months from Admission as an Australian Lawyer, I am required to be a ‘fit and proper’ person in my everyday life, therefore I do not engage in inappropriate behavior, behaviour which would Merit any sort of complaints. This once again, confirms that my abusive ex did to my Bumble, what he did to my Tinder. Bumble is aware of all of this but dismissed me, rudely and cruelly. Mike and Freddie of Bumble. Thank you for helping the man who controlled me, and abused me to the point of putting me in hospital, continue to control my life. As an app who prides themselves of their female empowerment, I am bitterly disappointed.” – P. K.

"Customer Service Sucks"

“They blocked my account for a violation of rules… I reached out because I hadn’t even logged in in a year so I wanted to see what was wrong. I was just told that they blocked me and cannot unblock me due to a violation. They can’t explain why. Which leads me to believe I was hacked. An app like this should at least let me understand what was done, especially if someone was using my photos to
Do something strange. Customer service sucks, basically a copy and paste message. Gonna try hinge.” – Megan

"Extortion and Coercion"

“Bumble member for a little under a year on and off but have initiated chargeback action after access to my account was blocked due to having to agree to a socialist anti Semitic ideology. Extortion and Coercion is not freedom. Bumble is now a terrorist organization and I have issued 12 chargebacks on my credit card for each month this extortion was exercised . At no time was there anything mentioning Bumble required it’s patrons to agree to their terms upon taking my money until two days ago when it decided to ” audit ” their members. Suddenly it was important. Well hopefully you will see an avalanche of chargebacks and your business credit will take a nice hit. I have audited you Bumble !” – Jerrold C.

"Terrible Website"

“I am now deleting my account. Having hidden my profile I then find it it is still visible a month later. Am bombarded by Bumble saying people have chosen me as a match. How can they if I have hidden my profile? Customer services at Bumble have told me I am still visible . I am deleting my account. Terrible website and a lot of nutters on it, some with unsuitable content.” –Jenny J.

"This Website is a Joke"

“This website is a joke. Pics get flagged all the time. I tried to include a shirtless gym photo and they literally told me, “Well, if you’re shirtless outside it’s ok, but if you’re shirtless inside it looks too much like underwear.” Haha, sure, make’s perfect sense. Well done Bumble. I often workout in my underwear at the gym. Can’t believe they actually get people to pay for this nonsense.” – Jeff

"Misleading their Customers"

“They have taken to misleading their customers. They keep sending you notifications that someone likes you or wants to meet you, but when you check it up there are no results. It’s not worth a dime, I could not find anyone willing to meet on Bumble. All they do on Bumble is offer you a few matches who haven’t been online for months. If you try to narrow down your search you have no matches at all. You have to stuggle to cancel your subscription ( it’s being renewed automatically), so it’s best of all not to get involved with it.” – Lloyd P.

"Hoax Alert"

“Nothing happened for weeks except the occasiona android update ‘like’ (maybe im just an ugly mofo 🤥). But when you click the link there is no ‘like’. I stopped my subscription and strangely the next day I got a ‘like’ that I couldnt view becsuse i had closed my account and no longer had access to bumble boost. So to test my suspicions I paid for a daily subscription. There was still no ‘like’ so another hoax alert. So I cancelled it and suprise suprise the next day I got another ‘like’!?! Make of it what you will but I know how I read that!!” – Darren M.

"They Banned Me"

“I think they banned me for a posting a shirtless pic of me on the beach. I determined this after a bunch of research to figure out why I got a notice that they thought I was a threat to the Bumble image. I was very professional and courteous in all my correspondence, Rather than explain that shirtless pics violate their policy, they closed my account and would not help in any way. They refused to explain. They just told me that I violated their policies and therefore I am gone forever. It’s all good though. There are better sites where I don’t need to cower under the thumb of a zealot group of damaged power-tripping women. I would rather be associated with a site where everyone is treated equally and fairly. Bumble is not that site. Best of luck to everyone who is still there.” – Amos

"Nothing but Problems"

“Money taking app with not much of a customer service department. Nothing but problems with this company taking money unlawfully for different amounts, all within a 72 hour timeline. I asked about a complaints procedure and got no reply. In desperate times, it’s horrible to think a company might resort to underhand tactics to make money. Times are hard indeed IF this is the case. Do your research before using anything connected to them.Used them twice, on 2 separate occasions and transactions that took place in the first instance looked normal and above board. The second time round was a completely different story. Multiple charges that just did not add up. My experience with them means I would not go near them with a barge pool if they were the last online dating app around. Rather take my chances with a global pandemic than use them and that is saying something.” – Kris S.

"This App is a Joke"

“This app is a joke, scam taking money from people after they cancelled the subscription. The only way to stop it is changing your bank card. Total ripoff. Also they don’t give any refund. What a scam. Hopefully someone is going to look into this matter as its illegal.” – Orosz A.

"They Charged Me Unauthorized"

“I signed up for boost and right after I signed up there is a button to unlink PayPal. So, I clicked that thinking I would not be charged. Well, I got charged the more times before PayPal alerted me. Technically they charged me unauthorized due to that button. What a lucrative way to make money on people trying to find love. Customer service is a joke. If they actually would have refunded me I would consider using there app. On principle I will not be taken advantage of.” – Christopher F.

"Don't Use This App"

“Just like other reviews, Bumble continue taking money out of my account and unrefoundable, during the whole payment process you feel like you are paying one off service but actually they sign you up subscription automatically and hide this part in the terms and conditions so you won’t notice. Customer service does nothing but keeps on telling I can continue use the service and doesn’t understand when I say I don’t want to use it at all. Don’t use this app unless you want to get rip off.”   – Gici

"What a Ripoff"

“Like others on here, I signed up for a boost, then was charged repeatedly even after canceling it through Apple. The response of Bumbles customer service (contacted through Facebook) was to explain to me what a “subscription” meant. When I told them to fix the issue and refine my money, they told me it was Apples fault. What a ripoff. If you must use bumble, avoid the paid services.” – Sarah M.

"Blocking People's Profile"

“Horrible site blocking people’s profiles for no reason! They especially like doing it after you’ve just paid for membership. They give you no explanation. Don’t be the subject of their whims! It’s very frustrating when you lose all your contacts one day or when someone you’re getting close with suddenly disappears. It’s problematic to exchange contact information on Bumble because they monitor and modify messages.” – Gerard

“Bumble is a scam!!! It will not accept any selfies taken to verify my identity to use the account and this is AFTER I paid them…please don’t get scammed by this app like I did. IT tells me my pics on FB do not match my selfie?! It seems their staff is responsive to let me know that my pose was not exact, but non responsive when it comes to getting a refund from their company due to this flaw in their app???!!! HMMM… Please don’t lose your money too.” – DonPaul B.

"Very Dodgy"

“After a little gentle persuasion from the app, out of curiosity clicked on the 1 day subscription of only £2.49 to view likes. Little did i know that this would end up being an every day recurring payment. Cancelled my boost using the app, which mysteriously the next day changed my boosts (and the money to pay for it) to active again!!
In short, had to get the bank to treat my card as stolen to halt the payments. I didn’t trust deleting the app – they’d still happily carry on hitting me for money. This is very very dodgy.” – Martyn H.

"Who Would Pay Money For This"

“What a waste of time. You can swipe for days on this app and not have a single match. The crack response team at Bumble told me it might be because I’m swiping left more than right. Why should that matter? So I should even out the swipes even if I’m not interested in the person? Thank goodness I only tried the free version. Who would pay money for this?” – Jeff

"Total Joke"

"A Complete Con"

“I subscribed for one day because it didn’t acknowledge a person I matched with. It said if you join you can see who liked you. No one showed up. I paid £2.49 for one day. I discovered by chance, it was a SUBSCRIPTION at £2.49 every day – and though it appears you can cancel it in Settings – IT DOESN’T!!! I discovered in small print you must cancel it in PayPal Subscriptions (not via PayPal app, but on a desktop). So, if you cancel on Bumble, they actually keep taking your subscription payments!! A complete con. And many faces I recognise from 2 years ago when I tried Bumble.” – Raymond L.

"Shame on You, Bumble"

“TERRIBLE money-grab, zero customer support, gaslighting. Argh. I was prompted to upgrade to Boost to see the people in my Beeline who’d already liked me. So I did. Sucka. Paid up and there was nobody in the beeline. Every message I send to Bumble comes back with gaslighting, pretending that my problem is of a tech, product comprehension or “just keep trying, sport” nature. If I had a decent response, I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. But I don’t. So to me, it’s nothing but a money grab. Shame on you, Bumble. Watch out for Hive collapse.” – Kerry F.

"Spread the Word"

“Bumble is not fair! Bumble blocked me and gave no reason for their action other than declaring “Your account has been blocked because we’ve received several reports about your behavior on our platform.” Either my account was hacked, or Bumble made a mistake. I have always been respectful and never confrontational or offensive. Regardless, Bumble has been neither fair nor reasonable with me, so be advised that you may lose your access at any time for any reason with no explanation. Spread the word!” – Chase L.
